As I entered the bathroom in my brother's house, in december 2003, just before new year, I felt this urge to strip and check my profile. What I saw was depressing! I saw the results of six months of hard work of sitting at home, eating six times a day, playing and finishing a PC game and coming out of home to only meet her.
I saw in the mirror, two new creatures, growing along. One was huge and resembled a truck tyre, complete with a nozzle to fill air....yes that was my belly, a shameful "asset" at the age of 23! I checked and rechecked the waist size of my brand new jeans, it simply showed a number which made me compulsively dizzy.......
I then noticed the other creature, a smaller round, just forming under my chin, showing new directions to my stubble.......yes it was the formidable double-chin, a sure sign of obesity..............
I was terrified of the very word........I shared my concerns with my brother and he said "Dont worry dude! You will bein shape by the time you graduate!" And I wondered how! And keeping his words in mind, I sat down to have a sumptuous south Indian meal.................
Today, I stood in front of the mirror, reflecting back on that day's shock....and indeed my brother had been right! Both the creatures were gone! My body was one piece again! Hurray! I felt good! And to celebrate this, I went to the Chinese restaurant to have a plate of Curry chicken....................................................................
