Today was one of those days, when everybody was at home and was feeling down. And one of them, having opted to buy those badminton rackets in bulk, was disappointed that he didnt get a chance to use them. So we decided, one of those decisions, which roommates successfully take together without much argument, to go to the Student Recreation Center. Well, it is a couple of miles away from home, so we decide to bike together. Now, suddenly one of them said that he has left his bike at a school. We remind him that it is the last day before spring break and the authorities are gonna tow it away if he doesnt take it. We also decide to take my camera along to capture some moments....
We start walking, pushing our bikes, and we reach a grassy island on th side of University Drive, and we decided to stop and take a snap here. Then we moved on towards Mays Business School, where Somu had left his bike. And as Srikanth and me waited and waited, Somu and Kittu went to get the bike and didnt return. Later I found out that, they had stopped for a photo session!!!
We entered the REC, and looked for Badminton courts, but they were all empty. We started warming up by the side of one of them, when suddenly someone comes over and says "Buddy there are more courts on the other side" So we set off , exploring the huge REC center, looking for the "other side" and finally find a court empty. We play two games, Srikanth and me in one team and Kittu and Somu in the other. We lose the first one but hit back in the second, and then, Somu suggests we play singles. After some exhaustive sessions of Badminton, we then push of to the Memorial Studnet Center, hungry, to hav free pizzas, as it was a friday, the Aggie-Nights day. But we find no one there, and realizing we were too early and too hungry to wait, we push off to this Chinese restaurant, called JIN'S, to have dinner. We order our dinners, and have fun for a while, talking loudly about some wierd menus and the wierd Chinese waiter, who struggled to speak english as if somebody has twisted his tongue with a pair of tongs. Then we have those yummy fortune cookies, which you get with the bill, and after burping loudly, without any Excuse Me's we leave the place, taking rest of the food as to-go, come home and all of us crash into our beds, almost at the same time!
